She said they all have minimum fragmentation but the 3 cell are growing slow but still in the game. She asked how many I want to transfer and I said 2 but that if one of the 3 cells was going to be trashed I might think about throwing it in.

Do you think this is feasible or stupid? The last time there was a 6 cell they ended up trashing because it didn't make it in time to freeze and that irritated me because I am a better incubator.

My ET is supposed to be wed and they are hoping all are blasts by then otherwise they would push to thurs.

I agree on the 3 cell. At least give it a chance. You never know. But for now GROW EMBIES GROW!!!!

For my 3dt, we wanted to transfer 2 good embies and 1 not so good. The embryologist said that they do not transfer anything 4 cells or less. Period. So we transferred a 10 and 8 as our good ones, and a 6 as a so-so one.

I would definitely ask on the day of your ET what ones are freeze-worthy and transfer an extra that isn't if you can.

Out of my 7 embryos that were remaining after my 3dt, 6 made it to blast but only 4 were freeze-worthy. I was sad for the other 2 because they were still growing and possibly viable. If we would have done a 5dt, I would have transferred them if I could. Those two may have been my 4 cellers on day 3 that were just behind.

So no, definitely not stupid.
