I am thinking of getting a doppler, I really wanted one last time but figured I should save my money for stuff I really *needed*. What doppler do you have and where did you get it?Thanks!

FI bought us the 3Mhz Hi Bebe doppler, and even though I can never seem to find the HB on my own, he's a pro, and the doppler has been really great. Not a whole lot of static when we're searching, which is nice. The heartbeat is relatively easy to find, and definitely easy to hear. Love it! We found the heartbeat for the first time at exactly 9 weeks.
www.hibebe.org tells you about the doppler, and there's a tab that verifies who their retailers are.
I got the Angelsounds one with DD and love it. With her I got it around 10w and picked up the hb right away. This pregnancy I found it at 9w3d. I might have found it earlier, but LO was up way higher than I was expecting.
BFP1: DD1 born April 2011 at 34w1d via unplanned c/s due to HELLP, DVT 1 week PP
BFP2: 3/18/12, blighted ovum, natural m/c @ 7w4d BFP3: DD2 born Feb 2013 at 38w4d via unplanned RCS due to uterine dehiscence
I also got the Sonoline B. Easy to use and works great! I bought mine from fetaldoppler.net. Shipping was included and I received mine two days after I ordered.
I just ordered the angel sounds one off of Amazon because it had good reviews but most of the mom to be's on here like the sonoline B. I wish I had checked those before I ordered mine. Angelsounds was about $45, Sonoline B. about $55.
I have not used either so I cannot say for sure - but I figured it would be a good way for me and dh to bond with baby at home and in-between the long 4 weeks between appointments...
Re: Doppler / fetal heart monitor recommendations?
Yes, I know they sell for at-home use. I had seen a couple online, they also might be referred to as fetal heart monitors.

I bought the Sonoline B from Amazon.com.
Love it! Worked at 9 weeks although it took some time to find.
Good luck!

I bought this one too and I like it. I found it hard to find the hb the first time but it just takes practice. Watch some you tube videos.
