well, that was scary

standing at the sink doing dishes, felt a rush of fluid dripping down my legs. DH said i actually left a trail between the bathroom and the kitchen. we ended up calling my OB and she sent us to L&D.

after about two hours of monitoring and tests, they said that i was merely leaking cervical mucus (apparently a TON of it) due to an irritable uterus. i am now on two weeks bedrest until my next appointment, but she did say that DH and i can still go on our weekend away on Friday, because we're planning on just really relaxing and not doing much of anything active.

it was still terrifying...put into perspective just how much we still have to do before this baby gets here!

That is scary! Hope you get lots of relaxation in on your weekend away. However, I agree with PP, you aren't going to be too far away from your regular doc are you? I'd want to stay close in case anything happened.
