Britax Boulevard 70-G3? (the new one)

So one of the deal blogs I check on daily posted that the Britax Boulevard 70-G3 is on sale. I am assuming this one is new because of the G3. It is the exact same price as the old one so I am assuming the new one is the one to get, right? Anyone know how it is different/better? I need to sell my husband on it - he was thinking about an Evenflo car seat which is a lot cheaper. Thanks!

    I have the Britax Boulevard (not the new one though), and part of me wishes I had saved some money and gone with the cheaper one, the Marathon. The Marathon has just as much padding as her infant car seat (the Chicco) did. I have a huge backseat in my car (Chevy Equinox) and even so it is hard to maneuver LO into the seat because of how big the seat is. They are all good seats though!

    you can go to the britax usa website and compare the seats that will tell you how they are different/similar. as far as convincing the husband- consumer reports :)

    We have the new one and the older one from last year.  The new one has a different type of of strappage.  It makes it easier to adjust and to get on without it twisting as much as the older model.

     

    This is the one we got, it went into my mom's truck.
