Hello to all you moms and dads out there!
My husband and I recently found out we are expecting our first child and I will be due Feb 9th. I was working as a nanny and personal assistant for a family in Mendia, and just told my boss on Monday and was let go yesterday. So, I'm on the look out for a new amazing family who is open to me working throughout the pregnancy, and are possibly interested in me bringing the child along after he or she is born. I have a lot of experience working with multiple children at once, including new born & infants!
A Little more about my background and qualifications:
I am a highly-organized individual with a wealth of childcare knowledge and experience. I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Education and hold current WA State teaching certification. I have current CPR and First Aid training (infant, child, adult) and driver's license with clean record.
I've been working with children professionally (teacher/tutor) since 2008, and as a nanny since 2010. I have worked as a preschool teacher (ages 2-3 years) at a childcare center in Seattle, and throughout college I worked at a crisis nursery where I was responsible for the care and well being of multiple infants birth to 1 years old. I've received high praise and commendations for being able to engage children and create a safe and fun environment for them to learn and explore. I have excellent references and a background check available through care.com.
I do really love working with children of all age groups. I thrive on helping them learn and grow. I would enjoy the opportunity to get to know your children and their interests. I will do my utmost to develop their skills and nurture their talents to help them thrive as individuals.
Thank you for taking the time to review my skills and qualifications. I hope to be able to work with your family in the near future.

Lauren
