Just had my membranes stripped

If anyone's having this done soon, I thought I'd tell you about it! It was kind of painful - like strong period cramps. My midwife said it was practice, and that's what contractions will feel like. It lasted probably a minute.

Since then, I've had just a little brown-tinged mucus when I wipe and I've been crampy - especially right after. It's been about 2 hours since then.

I was 2 cm, 50% effaced and +3 station. Also, I LOVE my midwife!!! She's not even going to discuss induction because I said I'm not interested. I have to have a NST on Thursday at 41 weeks, and twice a week thereafter (if I make it that far), but as long as baby and I are healthy she won't induce because she's sure I'll go before 42 weeks
