AW:First Birthday Pool Party! (PIC Heavy)

DS's first birthday party was awesome! Of course I spent the morning crying while getting things put together but once the party was rolling, it was a blast. My parents and a couple friends came and we had a really low key hangout by the pool with some snacks and drinks and music and did the (cup)cake smash out on the deck. Then DS got exhausted from all the sun and fun so DH took him inside for a nap while the rest of us hung out. Once he was up, we all went inside for presents.

And a car for the 1st birthday?! That's gonna be a tough gift to top next year!
Thanks guys! We had such a great relaxing day and DS was such a trooper. We tuckered him out! DH called and said he slept in until 9:30 this morning!
I told DS, don't think this is going to happen again! There will be no "my super sweet 16's" going on in this family! lol
