For ladies who have used the Instead Softcup for insemination, I have a few questions.
First, did you inseminate and then insert the softcup, or did you put the sample in the softcup and then insert it?
Second, how long did you leave the softcup in?

Re: Instead Softcup Question
We inseminated first and then placed the instead cup right against the cervix. But we were doing at home ICI with a catheter into the cervix, so there was less "escaping" then when we tried the at home vaginal inseminations. I left the cup in for a few hours and lay down for 15+ minutes afterward.
Good luck :-)
We bought a box of softcups with every intention of using them, but we ended up deciding that given the particulars of my partner's vagina and cervix, we would have had one hell of a time inserting it. (She doesn't even use tampons for the same reason.)
I do believe that they help though and wish they were an option for us! We did have fun shooting one of them around the living room.
