Testing Too Early?

Hey all, Im new here but i have a question... I was on extended treatment for Endometriosis with Lupron shots, i got off the shots in May and havent had a period since. My husband and I arent taking and precautions in the bedroom and Wednesday i had some spotting. I only noticed it one time on Wednesday, just a few drops of blood - Im thinking implantation bleeding?  Since then Ive felt tired and queasy. I tested today around noon and got a BFN. I think ill test tomorrow with the first morning's urine, but Im wondering.... was it implantation bleeding?and if so am i just testing too early? Any insight will be great ladies! thanks!

  • There's no way we can tell you if you're pregnant...just keep testing until you get a positive or AF shows. It would help too if you know when you ovulated so you'd know how many DPO you are.

  • you could definitely be testing too early. I don't know that you could get a BFP so early if the "implantation bleeding" was just on Wednesday. Do you know when your period is due? I would wait a week or two and test again. Good luck!

  • I haven't had AF in a year bc of all my endo treatment so it's almost impossible to know when AF or ovulation is happening. Thanks for the advice I'll keep testing weekly if AF doesn't show.

  • I'm guessing it's just a random spotting. If you are having symptoms of pregnancy then you are pregnant enough to turn a test positive.

  • Definitely ditto to trust the pregnancy tests, they don't lie. It could be implantation bleeding or it could be a very light period. Wait and see how the next couple a days are like. And don't trust the pregnancy "side effects" all through out my first pregnancy, I felt absolutely nothing. No morning sickness no queasy feeling, nothing. Have you informed your OBGYN of the missed period? It could be a side effect...

  • I actually called my OBGYN this morning to tell him whats going on. Ill stick with whatever he suggests.

    Thanks ladies
