I haven't felt anything. I'm only 17 weeks and figured I wouldn't feel kicks or flutters for a while, but more and more I seem to be hearing women saying they're feeling flutters at 15 weeks, 13 weeks, even earlier. It's starting to get me a little worried like something is wrong with my LO and I'm behind. Also, is there some big difference between flutters and kicks? I thought flutters were any sort of early fetal movement, but I don't know how different they feel or how to tell the difference between them. If they every start (I want kicks!

)
Re: When did you feel the flutters/kicks?
I've heard this a lot about STMs. Apparently it's because they know what they're feeling based on past experience, whereas FTMs are mistaking the movements for gas and muscle twitches as first. I felt something at 8 weeks that felt exactly like the movements I'm feeling now, but aside from that one time, I didn't feel anything significant until about two weeks ago, at 19 weeks, and even that took a few times before I could distinguish between kicks and gas. Now at 21 weeks it's really obvious what's my body and what's the baby, especially since I started seeing the kicks from outside because I can relate the feeling of the kicks to what I'm seeing.
I wouldn't stress if you're not feeling them yet, you're still in that "normal" window, plus if your baby is laying weird, you just may not feel them yet. As long as you see the little guy moving around on the u/s and can hear the heartbeat, I wouldn't worry. You'll definitely know it once you feel it a few times!
Don't worry. I know that's easier said than done. I'm a FTM and I didn't feel definite movement till about 22 weeks and I don't have a anterior placenta. It was hard to know if I was feeling flutters or other bodily functions before that. Try to relax, movement will come soon.

With my first, I felt nothing until 34 weeks. I had an anterior placenta and never felt the early movements, I just woke up one day and felt kicks!
With this one, I am starting to feel a rolling sensation-almost like the feeling you get in your tummy when you first start going down a hill on a roller coaster-but not as strong. I'm not 100% sure it was baby-but the only time I have ever felt like that when NOT on a roller coaster was last time I was pregnant and baby would flip over. Of course those were much stronger since I was further along...so who knows! I am assuming that I felt baby, but I know the later kicks will be unmistakable. Don't worry too much-but try laying down flat on your back after you eat to see if you can feel fluttering. One day you will, and know 100% it was LO!!
This is my first pregnancy, i started feeling flutters around 14/15 weeks for sure and maybe earlier. Usually it happens when I'm laying down on my back and relaxed but I've also felt them when I've been standing still for a while.
However I'm 17 weeks and like, three days and I have yet to have felt significant kicks so that may take longer.
I've been told it depends on the mother's body type and body awareness level before pregnancy as well as the individual baby. (Some just aren't big movers at first) But if you're like me and were really sensitive about your body and tuned in to it's happenings before, you should notice. Just take the time to relax for a little while
I know what it feels like when I have gas, it is not the same at all
Because it's an average. Some feel movement earlier than 20 weeks, some later. With DD#1 I didn't feel anything until around 19 weeks. I haven't felt anything this pregnancy yet.
