So I thought I'd just run to the pet store real quick to get my dogs some food. Packed baby up and thought nah I don't need the diaper bag or bottles. I'll just be gone 15 minuets.
Wouldn't you know it, my car battery died and now I'm sitting here waiting for the tow truck to come and replace my battery and Ryan's getting hungry. Only 30 more minuets to go.
Its these times that I really wish breast feeding had worked out for us.
*facepalm*
Re: So I just learned my lesson...
So I ended up having to wait 2 hours because of delays and the guy that originally came didn't have my battery size on hand. Luckily Ryan didn't get too fussy even though it had been 4 hours since he last ate.
I lucked out. I'm now packing up an emergency car diaper bag! I refuse to be caught off guard again!
Oh wow 2 hours! Sorry you had to go through that. I'm glad your little guy didn't get too fussy. Keeping a diaper bag in the car is a good idea.
One of my biggest fears is running out of food for my baby. BFing didnt work for us either. I have bad anxiety about it. Hoping it gets better..
Your not the only one with anxiety. DH's father thought I was nuts for giving him 4 bottles when he watched him the other day and he was only going to be there for 4 hours. I'd rather there be too much, who knows if the LO will decide he wants to eat every hour. =p
I did the same thing when my ILs watched my DS! It makes me feel better that it's not just me.
