To your family and/or friends? I am looking for a fun and creative way to announce it this time. We already have a LO who will be two in October so it could or couldn't incorporate him. Thanks!
1) My mom: I got her a thank you card. I wrote on it: "Thank you card: $2.95. Gas to Target: $8.00. Starbucks after 20 minutes in the card aisle: $12.49. The look on your face when you realize that four of us signed this: Priceless." Then I signed it with myself, DH, DS, and Pumpkin. She cried.
2) My dad and brother (two different conversations). On the phone: "Hi, what's up?" "In a hurry, blah, blah, blah." "Oh, that's okay. I was just calling to tell you I'm pregnant. We can talk about it later." I loved taking them off-guard like this.
3) My other brother who has been helping us plan a remodel. "We made a decision about the new addition." "Oh?" "We're going to expand by two feet." Repeat a couple times. "Do these two feet have two hands? And two eyes, and a nose?" "Hopefully!"
4) My sister. I called her on her birthday and modified the lyrics to Happy Birthday.
5) My ILs. We bought a small toy that clearly said 0+ for the age. We gave them the toy and said we thought they would need it around. FIL started to give it to DS, but I pointed out that he was too old for such babyish toys now. They figured it out pretty quick.
6) Friends. I took a picture of the Big Bro shirt I got at Children's Place and texted it to them with "Think this will look good on DS?"
7) With my previous pregnancy: We set our camera to the video function, but didn't tell. I posed with each person in the family and told them it was for my niece's baby album (she was due the next week). My husband started the video camera, and then said say "We're pregnant!" We got everyone's reaction on video. Totally awesome.
Our first was due on April 15th. So we said "Taxes aren't the only thing due April 15th..." People got it pretty quickly.
This time around we are due March 17. We just got our picture taken tonight but we haven't shared it with anyone yet. It is a picture of our DD holding a clover and we are standing behind her wearing green - she's in pink. It says "DD won't be the only one getting pinched this St. Patrick's Day..." Then at the bottom it says "Baby #2 is due March 17, 2013. We haven't shared it yet, though.
We've been lucky that our due dates have been fun ones!
I just had DS run up to family members and shout "Big Brother"...........no one understood him, so I whispered in his ear "say Baby!".......everyone thought he said peepee and got all excited that maybe he had peed on the potty. lol........finally he said big brother again clear enough for people to understand and I said "Yup, Mason's gonna be a big brother!"
Not too exciting, but I'm a blabber mouth so I couldn't keep quiet about it long enough to take a cool pic or something. I pretty much got a bfp and ran over to my parent's house.

I plan on sending my mom (oot) pink and blue flowers with a card saying "Pink or blue, what will it be? You have to wait til EDD to see!"
We will tell my in-laws with the typical "big bro" shirt.
Already told me sister over the phone when she asked, "What'd you do today?"

We used this poem and put on a pink and blue paper inside my father in law's fathers day card.
I do not have a face to see, Or put inside a frame. I do not have soft cheeks to kiss, I don't yet have a name. You can't yet hold my tiny hands, Nor whisper in my ear. It's still too soon to sing a song, Or cuddle me so near. But all will change come ________, That's when the say I'm due. I'm your new grandson or granddaughter, I can't wait till I meet you. All I ask between now and then, Is your patience while I grow. I promise I'll be worth the wait, Because of all the love we'll know. So what I have to give you now, is a wish to you from me. I cannot wait to be a part Of this wonderful family.
For our friends, I'm planning a dinner at a nice seasonal resturant in my home town, under the muse that we're jsut all getting together like old times.
My family guessed lol.
And for FB, we got a student/photographer to take a couple shots of us with a pair of baby slippers.
We get to announce in less than 2 weeks! So excited!
I got fabric markers and made a shirt with a picture of an oven with a bun in it. Cliche, maybe, but I couldn't think of anything better. I wore it to a family get together and waited for people to notice. It actually took a while because I'm a professional baker so it wasn't that unexpected, but it was fun to see their faces as it dawned on them, one by one.
