First shower gift

My first shower gift was dropped off at my mom's yesterday by a family friend who will be away the weekend of our shower (Aug 11th). She requested I open it at the shower. It is taking all I can not to drive to my parents and just peek in.

Now if we can just get all the RSVPs in we will be good to go.

I don't think I could hold out! My shower is coming up this weekend. I am sad to admit that I have become a registry stalker...I've checked it at least twice a day in the last week and get so excited when I see that the number of purchased items has changed. Stick out tongue

Way to be strong! I was originally a registry stalker for my bridal shower, but DH convinced me it'd be more fun to be surprised. I guess he was right in the long run, but so much fun to peek!

If I couldn't get to my parents' house to peek, I know my mom would peek for me. Neither of us has any self control when it comes to gifts! I'm also guilty of registry stalking -- especially with Amazon's wish list, you can also see who is buying what. I think I checked it multiple times leading up to our wedding
