maybe a dumb question about labor

BUT....when do you start timing?  I have been having BH all day today and very regularly for over a week.  I guess I am afraid that I'm not even going to know! (Silly I'm sure)

    You can time them any time you want, but when they hurt and get hard to ignore then definately watch the clock.

    when you are timing contractions, you count from the beginning of one to the beginning of the next.

    You will know.  When you can't talk through a contraction and they feel like horrible period cramps.  Then you start timing.
