I don't want to spend a lot on nb cd because mh and I were big babies and of course he's measuring big, too. So, I decided to use whatever disposables the hospital gives us and then I have 24 GMD prefolds, one snappie and 8 covers. I may purchase 5 nb Charlie bananas resale. Is that a good enough stash for the nb phase?
Re: Newborn Cloth Diapers
WTF I've tried to answer this, with clicky links, about 3 times. TAGS, you OWE me! :P
In the CD tutorial I watched, she recommends Nature BabyCare disposables when not CDing for whatever reason. I think you can find them on Amazon and diapers.com, however I have only seen the size 1 which says 8-something lbs, so it could be a bit big for a smaller newborn, I suppose.
Anyway, she talks about them here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00fVcPnwbWo toward the end of the clip (and I highly recommend watching the series if you haven't--she covers pretty much everything!).
EDIT: It's too early (10am?!). I basically also wrote this answer in SpartyMom's post, possibly with more information (which is why I didn't see it in this thread).
And Edit again: I'm clearly really confused. I think I need to take a break for a bit before responding to anymore posts! Sorry to answer a question you did not ask. You don't owe me anything. :P
I would think that you're fine with the 24 GMD's. With DD we had 24 GMD's, 2 Snappi's, and 6 Thirsties (we would have been fine with 4).
