Hi all,
I know there are a lot of stroller threads, but I have some specific questions. Twins due date in November, DS will be about 18-19 months old in Oct when they might arrive (or they may arrive much earlier but will likely be in NICU for a long time if so).
SO we have the valco trimode with joey seat for when all 3 are older, able to sit in it or recline, etc.
The questions are,
1. Do we need a DSNG too? I used the infant carseat carrier SO MUCH with DS, to keep him asleep/napping when out and about. But I don't know how out and about I will be with 2 newborns and a 1 1/2 year old, so is it really worth it to use an infant carrier stroller?
2. Do the Chicco keyfits really fit in the DSNG or not? I'm so confused, some reviews on Amazon, etc say they do not, others say they do with some adjustments. Does anyone fit the Chiccos? If not, is there another Chicco double carrier stroller like the DSNG? (I only saw ones made for singles)
Thank you in advance for any advice on this issue!
Re: DSNG vs Valco: Strollers for 3 under 2
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."
We had both the Valco + joey seat and the DSNG. We used the DSNG almost exclusively when they were teeny tiny. It was invaluable.
Do you think that you'll be able to not get out of the house with your older one? Because we had DD1, we got out a lot earlier with the twins than we did with DD.
I can't answer your 2nd question. We had Gracos.
We have both strollers & are in the same setup as you. I really just want to use the DSNG for their dr appts when I leave DS behind so I dont have to move them out of their car seats.
We also have gracos.
After 22 cycles and tube removal our IVF miracle has arrived! Detailed IF and IVF info in bio.
We have both and DS was 2y4m when the twins were born.
I'd get the DSNG as well. Even if you just use it for dr. appointments, it's so worth it. You may also find it helpful when grocery shopping. Now that my girls are a bit heavier, it's harder to wear one in the sling. I usually push them in the DSNG and pull DS in a cart. It's kind of awkward, but they're all contained. The valco is an amazing stroller, but it is very heavy to load/unload. You can put newborns in it as the seats recline back very far, but it's nice to have the option of leaving them in the carseats.
The Chicco Keyfits DO work with the DSNG. There are several youtube videos available that will show you how to do it.
