Hi Ladies,
Okay, I know there have been lots of posts about cramps in early pregnancy, and I know how common they are. But what do yours feel like, if you don't mind my asking? Is it actual pain, or is it more like what you feel when you get your period? I am just trying to figure out if what I am experiencing might be normal/okay. Mine feel exactly like my period, and they have been coming and going since last Monday, usually worse in the afternoon. Never actually painful, but sometimes strong, if that makes any sense. I've had some light spotting also. I have a u/s on Thursday.
Anyway, what are yours like?
TIA!

Re: XP: Cramps
I have had the same symptoms, except no spotting. With my first daughter I did have spotting. I asked my doctor if the cramps were normal and said usually yes. But he brought me in for a progesterone (sp?) level test. Cramping seems to be normal. I get at the same time, later in the day. They do feel exactly like period cramps. Supposedly it is your uterus stretching getting ready for the baby.
I haven't had cramps this pregnancy, but last time, as my uterus grew (and even implantation pain) they felt like dull period cramps. Not stabbing, but achy and like I had to take a shiit but couldn't.
That's the best way I know how to describe them.
