Eye twitch...

in 1st Trimester
I'm about 5w and a few days along and in the past week or so I've noticed my right eye twitches several times a day.  Apparently no one can see it happening, but I can feel it and it's odd to me that it just started.  Anyone experience this before or know what causes it?  I wanted to webmd it, but that usually just tells me horrible news.

    It's probably from lack of sleep. Used to happen to me when I was younger

    Oh my I just saw your  post. I am five weeks and have that too. At first I thought because I am tired but its seeming to happen a lot more. :( I guess this is a normal side effect as if I need more :) lol :)

    Potassium deficiency. You might also start to notice similar twitches in your legs or abdomen if you don't get a good influx, and it can aggravate morning sickness. Good sources are bananas, potatoes (with skin), broccoli, and milk.

    eye twitch = classic sign of stress.  Regular, garden variety stress.

    Like PP said, stress! Subconsciously you have more on your mind than you think.
