Intro :) (since I can't sleep)

Hello ladies :) 

Thought I'd quickly introduce myself. I've been lurking for a few days and figured it was time to come out. :) I just got the BFP on Thursday, and this was something that DH and I were not expecting quite yet (we just got married in April). Even though it's a surprise, we're very excited for our first! I've had a blood test to confirm, but my first OBGYN appointment isn't until August 17th (it was initially August 28th, but they moved it up... crazy!). Because I haven't had my first appointment, I'm still very nervous. I just want to get to that initial appointment to make sure everything is going well to begin with. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself looking at names, nurseries, etc, but it's so hard! 

Okay, enough for my book. Just wanted to say hello!

    Welcome!  I had an awful night of sleep!  DH woke me up when he came to bed around 1 AM.  I wasn't able to fall back asleep til 5!  I will definitely be napping today :)

    Congrats and welcome! :) My sleep has gotten a little better, but still not great. Which is like a cruel joke because I'm pretty tired at the end of the day. I fall asleep ok but wake up a lot to pee and am awake early in the am. Ugh.

    Thanks ladies! My EDD is March 15. And I'm so jealous of y'all that are sleeping well! I go to bed about 10, and wake up at 3:30am wide awake nearly every night. Some nights I can go back to sleep, some I cannot. I've also had the most vivid dreams I've ever had. My sister had the same issue during the first trimester and said it should go away by the second. *crossing fingers*

    Congrats and welcome! My hubby and I are also having a baby sooner than expected (we got married June 2nd) but we couldn't be more excited! Congrats again to you and your husband! Smile
