What is this pain???

Hi Ladies, this is my first post. I am 36 weeks preggo with my first and cant wait to meet the little guy!! My pregnancy has been quite smooth despite developing carpal tunnel. Lately though I have felt some pelvic pressure and a few twinges of incredibly sharp pains in my pelvic area. Does anyone know what these sharp pains could be???

    Its referred to as lightening crotch by the Bump ladies. Its happens when LO is low and starts to hit nerves down there that trigger those sharp pains.

    It could be "lightening".  I've felt that sharp feeling too. Kinda like a knife being poked in my bladder very suddenly. I always jump because it hurts and takes me by surprise.

    It sounds like the baby hitting nerves in your pelvis. Just make sure you wear a pad if you are worried about peeing yourself (I did).
