Cravings...

So what's everyone craving so far?!

 

My top cravings are spicy food, pasta, cucumbers and crab legs!

  • Salad and soup sounds amazing right now. Specifically the BBQ chopped chicken salad and corn chowder from Panera. I have been wanting salad non-stop recently.

  • We went out for lunch today just so I could have crab legs.  I've been craving them since a couple days before I found out I was pregnant, and have been dreaming of them ever since. 

    My husband thinks it's funny.

  • Cherries, grapes, berries, tater tots, bagels and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.  Yum!

    Also, I can barely force myself to eat meat, but I have definitely been able to put away plenty of veggies, so at least I'm getting pretty much everything.  Though I am worried about protein so will be eating more Greek yogurt.  And I desperately want the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream but haven't had it.  Yet.

    09/05 - looking good - 148bpm. 15 weeks
    10/11 - A/S - a Girl!
    11/15 - glucose testing, fruit punch yumness - Passed!
    12/13 - 28 week appt + 24h Holter and Echo (everything normal)
    01/03 - 31 week appt! (hips are killing me!)
    ?01/17 - 33 week appt!?

  • No cravings yet.... but I hope it's something delicious like Crab legs!

    ETA: Lies! I'm craving everything I'm no longer allowed to have like turkey sandwiches and most especially COFFEE! I don't know how I'll ever be able to go back to teaching without coffee! Sad

  • hashbrowns and eggs. I've eaten it for breakfast every day this week, and had to go buy more today!!

  • I find I'm not craving food per say...but I'm having such strong food aversions there are very few foods I actually want to/feel like eating....like soup..I always want soup, salad, and fruit

  • Pancakes, strawberries and mashed potatoes- specifically with brown gravy. I'm very easily influenced too. Today I felt like a true crazy pregnant person for my cravings and emotions. My mom said somethig about ihop on Facebook and I immediately wanted strawberry pancakes from Perkins. More like NEEDED perkins. The closest one is 30 miles away. I asked my husband if we could go and he said he didn't really want to but sure as long as I showered first (I was still in my pajamas- its Saturday and I was hoping to be gross and sloppy all day). I started crying. I thought We would never get there and there would be a huge line. Or I would get there and not want them anymore.... Got them though and they were AMAZING

  • I've been craving spicy food and tomato soup (actually anything with tomatoes). My favorite has been the Tomato Basil soup at Panera Bread-yum!

  • Cheese and apples! And I normally don't even like apples. Also, just more cheese. Yum. My aversion so far is anything sweet. It doesn't so much gross me out, I just have absolutely no desire for it.

    You can still have coffee, just not a vat of it every day.  A small cup every morning is fine.

    And you can have turkey, too...

  • McAlister's Deli foods... Sandwiches, Soups, Salads, Chips, Pickles etc all with a Sweet tea with lemon... The McAlister's Deli by my house has been a frequent stop of mine the past couple weeks, my friends keep joking with me that I'll probably go through the entire menu by the time I deliver! I went there this week with one of my long time friends and she got a good chuckle out of me almost jumping on the waitress for forgetting my pickle (I'm usually not like that!) Big Smile

  • Soft pretzels, anything cinnamon, anything lavendar flavored(NOT easy to find), grilled cheese, cereal. I'm all over the place with my cravings.

  • Lots of carbs!!  Bagels, pasta and pizza...also water, OJ, apples, and frozen yogurt loaded with fresh fruit.
