Am I the only lazy mom not switched to cups yet?

I fear this step and just not even attempted. He will drink sips of water from sippy cups but refuses milk so I have just put it off. :(

Hannah won't take milk from a sippy either. We still do one bottle before bed. She gets water the rest of the time in a soppy.

  • Liv takes forever to finish even an ounce of milk from sippy, regular drinking cup, or straw. Most days, I don't even bother and just give the milk in the bottle. She still gets bottle about 4x a day.

  • She still drinks her milk from bottles.  Once I get her totally switched to WCM we'll work on the transition to sippies.  She does drink water out of the sippy and loves it.

I haven't either. He doesn't take a pacifier or suck his fingers. Poor baby has such a rough time without the bottle
  • I've attempted so many times, but failed, so she is still getting 3 bottles a day of WCM. She loves drinking water out of her sippy, but as soon as I try to give her milk she spits it out. This is going to be harder than I thought!

  • The only one I've kept is the one before bed.  She's drinking one "cup" of milk during the day from a hard spout sippy but I put a few drops of chocolate syrup in it....  I figure it's only a tiny bit and I can decrease it gradually.
  • Nope....haven't started here yet either. We just fully transitioned to WCM just a few days ago.. Right now he gets 3-4 bottles of WCM and takes water from a sippy or straw cup. Honestly, I'm in  no rush. Pedi said as long as he's off the bottle by 18 mo were OK.

  • He mostly gets his milk from bottles, but occasionally a cup.  He just drinks it so well from the bottle, and not so well from the sippy that I'm more concerned about him getting the nutrients than the bottle/cup source.

He's a pro with water in it though!  I know I need to start weaing off the bottle though because he's starting to hold it with his teeth and swing it back and forth!
