Since my boys have been home from the nicu I have kept them on the same 3 hour feed/change schedule as they did there. During the night hours I am waking them to feed I would say 9 out of 10 times. My question is, am I doing this correctly or should I be less conscious of the time and allow them to sleep longer? I'm starting to wonder because they are just out cold half the time and don't even want the bottle and I'm starting to feel bad. Should I be looking for more readiness cues or at this early stage ( almost 3 weeks), is it imperative to wake every 3 hours?

Just got back from the pedi. They are 4.14 and 5.10. He told me I can drop a night feeding since they are gaining weight and thriving. I guess we will give it a whirl. Yay for more sleep at least.
