  • From experience, my advice would be air filled tires.....it makes a HUGE difference.

Same here....LOVE it.  Super light, one handed fold, and accommodates the infant car seat easily without being bulky. Also not too badly priced....keep an eye on amazon for great deals!

I would skip a travel system and get a snap n go to start and get a better stroller for later.  We decided on the City Mini GT.  Its a bit pricey but I think it'll be worth it.

We are doing the same thing

  • We had the chicco travel system with DD and loved it. I will be using it again.

  • There are sooooo many strollers to choose from, and much of it depends on your exact needs (and your budget).

I've loved reading Lucie's List (LuciesList.com) for advice.  She doesn't really recommend travel systems, but did recommend the Graco Litender for being a great value.  The other thing to do is read reviews - Amazon will have a million of them.

I was going to go with the City Mini for my registry, but then was given a different jogging stroller w/ matching car seat, so I'll be happy with that.

  • I hate bumping from my phone!! Try this again...

We have the Chicco Cortina travel system and love it.

We didn't like the snap n go because MH and I are taller and it just was awkward and uncomfortable to push. This baby will get the stroller now. Although we need to find a double to something. The Chicco was easy to push and the bar height was really all. It's also durable and easy to collapse.

Best advice is for you and YH to go to BRU BBB etc and actually play with them- fold, snap, open, push etc... Then make the decision.

  • I'd either get a Britax B-Agile or a City Mini, and then get the carseat adapter (if necessary) so you can use it as a travel system.  Travel system strollers tend to be huge, bulky, and heavy - not really qualities you want in a stroller if you can avoid it.  The B-Agile works with the B-Safe carseat without an adapter; the City Mini has a separate adapter so you can use it with any carseat, if you don't want to get the B-Safe.

I also suggest the same...we used to snap n go exclusively for months, then moved to a nice peg perego pliko switch (so you can have the baby facing you or facing away.  I think you only need air filled tired if you go outside a lot...we mostly used our stroller in stores, on the paved part of the park and the boardwalk.
