Hello,

 I just wanted to introduce myself. After a lot of heart ache with fertility problems and multiple miscarriages ( you can read the lovely details in my sig) we are going to adoption. We have had 2 meetings with the Adoption network law center and decided to go with them and we are turning in all of our paperwork tomorrow and next week picking out a home study agency. We are beyond excited to bring a baby into our family and to be parents. Has anyone used this law firm? I know a couple of people who have used them and have had amazing experiences but would love more feedback. They just seem really amazing and affordable. I can't wait to get to know you all!

Married 11/27/09 and TTC right away
Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect
4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs
Baby 1 and 2: BFP 3/3/11 with 2 babies EDD 11/1/11, M/C 4/6/11
Baby #3: 8/11 pregnant EDD 4/27/11 and m/c:(
Baby #4: 10/12/11 BFP! EDD 6/16/12m/c 10/26/11
Baby #5: 3/13/12 BFP! EDD 11/25/12 ANOTHER m/c :(

Baby #6: 2/14/13- BFP! EDD 10/24/13, CP 2/19/13
Baby #7: 3/15/13- BFP! EDD 11/27/13, another CP
Baby #8.  BFP 5/19/13 EDD 1/22/14. 8 was not our lucky number

4th septum resection on 5/31/13.
Baby #9: 6/29/13 BFP. C section scheduled for March 5th!

My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!

    The agency we're using has had several couples use them.  She said her couples have very short wait times (2 weeks to 3 months), but the couples easily paid $40K+ by the time everything was said and done.

    Welcome and GL.  We too are using a lawyer, but she is an independent person who used to work for a larger firm.

    the most we will have to pay is 40 k and we are very comfortable with that. We are in the military so there is a military 2k reimbursement, and hopefully we will get the 13k tax credit. Based on our profile we also qualify for the law firms 4k credit. We really arent concerned with the money but more about getting a baby and not having to wait years. We are very excited! Thank you for the welcome!

    I'm not sure if things have changed, but I know the tax credit is going away after 2012 and adoptions must be finalized in 2012 to qualify for the credit.

    yes they think we might be able to have a baby before christmas that is why i said possibly. if not, it doesnt matter to us. but if it is available that is nice too. it isnt a big deal for us.

    DS- 4 years old, Natural m/c @ 7 weeks-12/1/09. Infertility issues- low ovarian reserve- low AMH and high FSH. Looking into adoption. Trying to figure out where to go with your little one? My favorite website is: Trekaroo AlternaTickers - Cool, free Web tickers
