BFN after 1st round of Clomid :(

Had my trigger shot 15 days ago after my first round of clomid, took a pregnancy test this morning...BFN.

 

SO disappointed.  I guess because this was my first round I just had high hopes.  

 

Not in a good mood today AT ALL. :-(

    I'm sorry, I know it sucks. You're next round you should have better chances because the clomid from this cycle should still be in your system. GL! Don't give up!

    That does really make for a bad day.  I remember the first time I had actually responded to Clomid.  I had such high hopes.  It made it so much worse, and so much more scary.  Scary knowing that something else didn't work.  I can't remember the stats exactly but quite a large percentage of people who are going to get pg on Clomid do so in the first three months.  So hopefully if you responded well, maybe in the next two!  Have a good cry and a nice stiff drink.

    I'm Sorry! I have high hopes this cycle too because I had my 1st IUI.  I hope next month is your month!

    I'm sorry. That sucks. I didn't respond my first round of Clomid. I was very upset about it even though I kept trying to tell myself it wasn't a big deal. FX for you next cycle.

    TTC#1 since 5/2011
    DX: Hypothyroidism, PCOS, Myasthenia Gravis, Aplastic Anemia, one copy MTHFR DH SA: count 52% motility (slow progressive), 0% normal morph
    June-July 2012: Clomid cycles=BFNs
    August 2012: New RE, started Metformin, Letrozole 7.5mg+TI=BFN Sept. 2012: IUI#1: Letrozole 7.5mg=BFN
    Oct. 2012: IUI#2 Letrozole 7.5mg+Dexamethasone=BFN
    Nov '12-March '13 on a break
    April 2013: IUI#3 Letrozole 7.5mg+Dexamethasone=BFN
    June 2013: IVF#1  Follistim/Menopur/Ganirelix =BFN, 3 Frosties
    August 2013: FET#1=BFP 8/20/13,  EDD 4/30/13, MMC 10/1/13
    December 2013: IVF#2 Follistim/Menopur/Ganirelix=?

    I'm very sorry for you. I had my first BFN from a IUI this month also, there is no worse feeling. Good luck to you on your next cycle!!

    I'm sorry..my first round with Clomid wasn't successful either..try to have a good weekend..
    Patiently waiting for our 1st since 9/2010.
    Dealing with MFI, good count, good motility, 3% morph-HSG all clear, all other test results came back normal, IUI is our next step
    May 2012- Clomid 50mg + IUI = BFN
    June- Cycle Break
    July- Forced cycle break due to cysts
    August- Femara, Trigger, IUI#2= ?

    I feel ya....I was 100% certain that Clomid would be my answer yet it did absolutely nothing for me. Blech, stupid IF....good luck on your next round hope your mood lightens up a bit for the weekend :)

    Today is officially CD-1 for me, so I am just trying to look at is as another cycle means another chance...

    Me:29 DH:29  TTC since 1/11 Dx: unexplained IF/early DOR/immune issues 
    Feb'12- July'12-testing(all clear minus slight arcuate ute), 3 IUI with clomid all BFN
    8/30IVF#1 Antagonist protocol- ER 9/11-8R, 7M, 5F. 
    ET 9/14 2 embies transferred. 1 10cell Grade 4, 1 8cell Grade 4. No frosties. BFN
    IVF#2 Antagonist protocol plus baby aspirin- ER 12/5-16R, 12M, 8F!
    ET 12/10 5dt! 1 fully expanded blast & 1 early blast. No frosties. BFN
    3/13 hysteroscopy & polypectomy, Consulted w Dr. Kwak-Kim.  
    DX: High NK cells, cytokines, DHEAs& PAI1;  hypothyroid, +APA, restricted bloodflow
    7/13 IVF#3 Long lupron protocol with PIO, Crinone, Prometrium, and vivelle
