Safe Nursery Paint

Hello ladies,

I just received a crib from a lady at my church. It's a bit older and could use a nice paint job.  Was wondering what paints are safe to use for the nursery decorations / crib. Thanks :)

    Anything low or zero VOC. I'm using Valspar. It's fantastic and covers with one coat. I do always recommend priming whatever you paint as well. It just helps the paint hold better.

    check that the crib meets the latest safety recommendations; I know they've changed recently.
