Sore...uterus?

I went to our state fair today and had a great time! Got in a ton of walking exercise and managed to not eat EVERYTHING in sight haha. Let me just tell you, going to the fair with gestational diabetes is both a blessing and curse at the same time!!

Now that I am home though, Im realizing I am very sore...and can't quite tell what is sore...I think maybe its my uterus? But its only below my belly-pretty much at my waist....its above my hips. Maybe ligaments? I feel fine while I am on the couch, but when I get up, its so sore!!

Anyone experience this? Planning on just relaxing on the couch tonight and watching Opening Ceremonies, so I am hoping that will help, but wanted to see if it was cause for any concern or totally normal....or if there was anything recommended to do!

Excited for baby #2!

Re: Sore...uterus?

  • First off, kudos to you for not eating everything in sight and the walking!  I've only had this feeling you're describing once and I think it was at the end of a busy day.  Taking it easy with your feet up and drinking lots of water would probably help.

  • I don't know what it's called, but I think I get the same thing every time I overexert myself.  Doesn't seem to cause any damage or even last for very long, just a reminder to take it easy.

  • I get cramping in my uterus almost everyday:( especially after work or if i've had to much activity for the day.
  • Overexertion.. and drink LOTS of water.
