Moms with Bobs

We recently bought a bob revolution se. DS is not very happy in it because even when most upright it has a significant recline. I was able to jerryrig it with some rope to make the seat much more upright. Otherwise I really like the stroller. We are mostly using it for trail and neighborhood walks. Does anyone else have this problem? If I'm not running with it, do you see any risks of me decreasing the incline?

My two boys are getting a surprise May 2015!

  • I'm sorry. I dont really understand what you are asking.

We have not had any problems with the incline on the seat.

I don't have that stroller but I know exactly what you are talking about bc I do have a jogging stroller that doesn't incline all the way up either. I dont see any problem with sitting him up more but maybe check on the baby gear board to see if there is anything you could buy to hold it up so you don't have to rig it up everytime?

I don't have this stroller so I can't really help. But I definitely misread this and thought it said "Moms with boobs"

LOL I guess we both have dirty minds because after I read what you said, I was thinking "Moms with Battery Operated Boyfriends!!" LMAO

  • I have the newest version too. Instead of the seat back sitting at a ninety degree angle like a chair, it is slightly reclined. DS wants to sit upright. However, if I use some rope, I can get the seat to almost 90 degrees. I will probable only have to unrig it if I need to put the stroller in the trunk. I think it's designed with the slight incline so it has more give when you go over bumps.

Hopefully I explained it better that time?

Moms with boobs would have been a more fun topic!

  • I have the BOB and love it. I understand what you mean about the angle of the seat. Maybe you could try a blanket rolled up behind LO to sit him up more or possibly a pillow. We did this when DD was smaller and wanted to see out more. She loves the recline now. HTH!

  • I know what you mean regarding the incline, too, but my son doesn't seem bothered by it.

  • I have another ATS/jogger and it also has the incline.  If it bothers your LO, I would rig it as long as you are not using it that way to jog.  I think it is a safety thing for when you jog.
