I am! I love all the stories that come out of the games and watching all the different sports. I am SO bummed that the games start today and I go back to work on Monday (I'm a teacher).
Anyway, what will you be watching?
I love watching tennis, gymnastics, and swimming.
Re: NBR: Who's excited about the Olympics?
I'll be watching swimming, diving, gymnastics for sure and then probably lots of other events too.
""No one else will ever know the strength of my love for you. After all, you're the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside."
"On the night you were born, the moon smiled with such wonder that the stars peeked in to see you and the night wind whispered "Life will never be the same." Because there had never been anyone like you... ever in the world." ~ Nancy Tillman
This! All of it! DH and I always do date night on Friday night and tonight we are having date night at home so we can watch the Opening Ceremonies together.
That reminded me, it was 4 years ago that I met my DH. I was spouting off facts about Michael Phelps and watching one of his races the day we met. I think he though I was a little weird
Mens swimming and gymnastics are my favorites
I cant wait to watch with ds! He's been learning about the Olympics all summer at camp so I think he'll really enjoy it.
Me!! We're actually heading over next week for 4 days of Olympics. Have tickets to rowing, fencing, volleyball and basketball. We live in the British Isles and my sister lives in London so it was a no-brainer to go.
Opening Ceremonies: I loved it. It was very British which I thought was great. Was too tired to stay up past seeing Canada walk in so hoping to catch rest of it this weekend.
Me too! It's definitely what I'm looking forward to the most. DH and I are watching the opening ceremony as we speak (DVR). It's definitely....interesting to say the least.

Me! DD watched with me last night and she thought the Parade of Nations was awesome. She was fighting sleep so she could see USA walk in, it was so cute. She is also currently obsessed. She had me find the schedule of the games and has her list ready of what she wants to watch, archery included. I was told to DVR swimming tonight since she will be at a birthday party.
Looks like I know what will be on my t.v for the next two weeks!
