I just had an idea! Since most of our Lo's are getting too big for the slings, but not able to sit up yet for bigger tubs......would the bumbo chair work? I bet it would! I think I'm going to try it and see!
I'm pretty sure they warn to not put it in the tub, or use it for bathing.
Oh good to know! I got a used one and the warning part is rubbed off and didn't have the instructions. I was just thinking it would work, but a floating seat would def be a no-no! Thanks for the info!
In that movie the change up, his kids are in the bumbo in the tub
LOL, that movie cracks me up! My husband and I had to watch the first scene twice because we were laughing so hard! That just shows how immature we both can be!

Yeah, I think it's on the warning label not to use it in water...I have a used one too so it doesn't have a label either.
I've seen people do it, I just personally wouldn't feel safe doing it.

I have to get a bigger tub too for this big guy!
hahaha, I know what you mean! Evelyn's legs hang over the sling and her butt hits the bottom. My tub doesn't have the incline for infants, it's mainly just a bowl, so it's mainly for babies who can sit up. Until she sits up on her own I gotta make the sling work.
I just use the regular bath tub but only fill it a couple of inches and never take my eye off her do she won't roll..she LOVES it! She kicks like crazy

I believe the bumbo will hold water when it gets wet as its kinda spongey. I think it might ruin it. They sell special bath seats for pretty cheap. For some reason I am failing at PIP right now but just google baby bath seat.
