LO's nursery is done! (overload of PIP) ;o)

Yay! We finished LO's nursery today, so I wanted to share the photos. It's been a labor of love between me, DH and the soon-to-be grandmas. )

Crib area (pillows will be relocated out of the crib when we move LO into it, all frames have been secured tightly to the wall and things within reach were put in to place by velcro, but will be removed from being within reach as LO gets tall enough to reach them, also all crib linens were made by my mom and the quilt was made by DH's mom) )

Storage to the left and right of crib (Ikea cabinets secured with glass doors secured by child proof locks, these will be moved into our "office" when we move next summer, but make really great storage for LO's things for now! The frames have photos of our closest family/friends and their children.

Other wall (chair is 30 years old and slipcovered- my mom used it to rock me & all of my siblings, dresser is a Craigslist find)

How did you get the pom balls to stick up there? We were going to use tacks but they don't seem very secure and I don't think tape will hold.

I actually used our staple gun to put them up! ) I tied them securely with a ribbon and staple gunned the ribbon to the ceiling.. I don't think they will be going anywhere for quite some time! ;o)

Thanks, I will have to try this method! Hopefully they will stay put without having to be nailed in the ceiling!

Ha ) I knew I'd get them hung eventually- just glad I finally got around to it before LO arrived! )

Thanks, everybody! It's been a labor of love this summer (thank goodness for having summer vacation!), and I'm just so excited for it to be her room. I love just sitting in the glider to read/play on the internet and know that in less than a month, she's going to be here!
