Jewener

Not only are you shady but you are stupid. Why did you think it was appropriate to post someone's address on TB. I'd like to see all your little cronies defend that move.

Wow.  People just need to get over this.  It had nothing to do with you. It was between her and two others (she said three, but one said she got the stuff).

I'm not sticking up for posting someone's address. Can we just act like adults and move on?!

  •  I usually do not partake in board drama, but this requires a response from me. I am fortunate enough to know Jewerner IRL and she is a thoughtful, sweet and genuine person, not to mention a phenomenal mother and a great person to call my friend. Anyone who would describe her as a "scammer" or "shady" or "stupid" having "no balls" obviously knows nothing about her. Sh!t happens people, mail gets lost or delayed! Don't come over here to our board, where we love her and start calling her names! Get your panties out of a twist and grow up!

As far as posting the address goes, she was trying to defend herself, perhaps not the best way to do it, but I understand completely.  She didn't asked to be attacked from all sides on the board that she calls home!

Jewerner, keep your head up! I know what kind of person you really are!

  • Hmm since the original post appears to have been DD'd I'll repeat... WHY the EFF are you people doing business with Internet strangers? As far as I'm concerned you deserve to get scammed and have your address and any other personal information posted because you TRUSTED a STRANGER.

Now STFU, don't get your panties in a bunch over 20 freaking dollars, and maybe stupid drama like this wouldn't happen.

  • Move on! Oh look how big and tough you are calling people out on the internet...go back to high school. If you really rely on formula checks that much call your local WIC office and get off TB.

  • So she calls an entire board hookers and you think it's funny. I call her stupid and I'm an @sshole. Ok that makes sense. And thinking for one millisecond that it was appropriate to post someone's home address on the Internet is f-ing stupid. And the first one of you that disagrees with that feel free to post yours.

And since it is the Internet I can go where I want but thanks for the tip.

No one said it was okay to post their home address, but no one thinks it's cool to call people out in threads either...move on.

I don't think anyone has said its appropriate to post someone else's address on the Internet. But if you're going to give your address to an internet stranger then you clearly don't value your own privacy and therefore shouldn't be suprised if it ends up on the Internet.

But really what's the worst that can happen? A stranger will find your house and do what? Your stranger neighbors can find your house much easier than an internet stranger but are you as worried about that person?

Oh, but it wasn't just the hookers. It was the hookers and the hos. Winning combo. Maybe someday you'll find yours and people won't think you're an @sshole anymore.

  • If things went down the way it sounds, jewy is extremely lucky that xo dd'ed the thread. Posting people's personal info will get you banned real quick.

And seriously, I love that you all jump to her defense, but it sounds pretty shady to me. I'm glad she got called out... I know now not to ever trade checks with jewy now. It was a nice psa, IMO.

Im sorry, but I have to agree with shoe, at least in part. There is nothing that justifies posting someone's address, and the bump takes it pretty seriously. You were doing a good job of rising above it all until that...

Well actually people don't think I'm an @sshole. I didn't say anything about that other thread. I wasn't calling her out about the formula checks. I was calling her out about the address thing. And don't worry she's been reported, and mods can still see DDs.

And I have no idea what someday I'll find mine means.

She didn't say it was appropriate, just that there was no difference between giving it to a stranger and posting it.

No one on here said it was appropriate to post an address. Not sure why people keep saying that.

I was just pointing out what was said and the fact that no one agreed it was appropriate.  This person keeps telling us to post our info even though no one sided with what she did.

Honestly, I don't want to get into it, but there are people justifying what was done. Maybe go to the post on 3-6 if you don't believe me.

Theres really not a huge difference at all. If you value your own privacy then don't give away your info to Internet strangers to do with it what they wish. Common sense. I'm not saying what J did was right but I'm also not the idiot who gave my address to an Internet stranger.

  • Someone did say that they understood why she did it. My point was that no one is going to post their address on TB so defending her when she did is silly to me. What she did was wrong, period. And I think there is a big difference between PMing one person your address and posting it on a public forum. Whether or not that is a good idea may be someone else's point but it's not mine.
