I used to run all the time. Before I got pregnant I ran 6 miles almost every day. Then pregnancy happened and every time I tried to run I would get sick. So, I put on a lot of weight. I gained 45 lbs... Then when Liam came along I was having trouble with my milk supply and I was a tired new mom who just wanted to cuddle with her baby, so still no exercise. I have decided that I need lose all of my pregnancy weight so I start back at the gym today or tomorrow (depending on if I find where my IPod is hiding amongst all the moving boxes).
I will probably die, but I know that you have to start small to get back to my 6 mile runs (oh how I miss you ) I have been inspired by a lot of April moms so maybe I can help inspire others. My goal is to get up to running for 30 minutes straight and then start working on a 10 K and half marathon!

You know what....I am with you!! I am so tired of feeling frumpy & unsexy. I used to wear fashionable clothes & look nice. Now I don't care about how I look & I really don't feel good about myself. To get back into my size 8's I need to lose about 45lbs or so as well.

I'm in! I'm not going to run tho. If you saw me you would understand why. I'm extremely top heavy and no, just no, to running. I just bought the 30DS and some 5lbs weights. I have a whole closet full of clothes that don't fit. I'm only 5'3 so my 13lbs is 2 sizes up from where I would like to be. ( I mentioned this to my sister (she has 70lbs to lose) and her response was : 13 lbs is Nothing!) But ya know what? It's MY 13lbs. My plan is to do the 30DS in 45days. I did it last night for the first time and that woman's expectations of my abilities are way too high. LOL
Honestly just eat healthy and less and you will loose it. I have done minimum exercise and only have changed my eating habits and have lost 55lbs. You can do it!!
Yes, this is something I have to do to. I love running though and I think exercise will be some much needed me time! Everyone is helping me get super pumped. Maybe tomorrow I will take a before picture

Maybe we can have a weekly check in to see how everyone is doing? I know that I plan to go to the gym tomorrow for some elliptical time and then another class on Friday. On Monday my BF and I are going to start a diet so I will let you all know how that goes. I am sore as can be today for yesterday, but it feels amazing

Go to www.myfitnesspal.com register on that site. They have an awesome food diary where you can log in your food. Based on your weight & goals they will calculate how many calories you should be consuming. I encourage to try it. Add me as a friend if you register, my screen name is boricua3177.
