We used the party room at my Dad's Masonic lodge for Evie's first birthday. One of my cousins used the fellowship hall at their church. Both venues were free because we were members. For my grandfathers 75 birthday we used an American Legion and I think the "donation" to use the room was $100.
I have been to quite a few first birthday parties this year. Several were at Owen Brown Community Center. We had ours at North Laurel Community Center. One was in Clarksville at the KidSpace, Gymboree, Chuck E Cheese (at first I was worried about that one, but the kids ended up having fun). Some people rented a pavilion at a park or pool.
