    My H's aunt actually kinda spilled the beans last night on FB. People had already guessed anyways under her status, so we just did a "cat's outta the bag" post kinda thing today.
    It's a little earlier than I would have liked. But oh well. It's done now !

    My answer is of course... only AFTER we've personally told all of those we're close to. We'll do the FB announcement at 12 or 13 weeks. That's what we did with DS and it worked for us.

    Probably not - I have a little email announcement planned for friends and distant family, I'll call those I'm closest to, and beyond that, I'm not really worried about former coworkers and classmates getting a big, "Look, everyone, WE'RE PREGNANT".

    We will be announcing, but I want to wait a while. We'll be seeing most of my husband's family at a picnic when I'm 13 weeks to let them know in person (aunts, uncles, cousins), and we've also been telling family and friends as we see them. I figure, once it gets to facebook, all the people that are "important" will know already, and then we can announce to old coworkers, college and high school friends that we don't see all the time. I might want to wait until sometime around our anniversary in late September so we can have a 5th anniversary/baby on the way post.

    We will eventually put out the news on FB, but not for a while.  We are waiting to tell our parents until after our 8 week appointment and when we tell them I am going to ask them to keep quiet about it until we are 14 weeks, then we may announce in on FB.  We'll just see how it goes.

    We plan on annoucing on facebook after we have told all immediate family and are comfortable that its our sticky baby. Probably won't announce on fb untill after 14 weeks though.....

    I have some co-workers on my FB so I will announce it on there once I'm ready for work to know.  Probably another 6 weeks.

    I needed one of those "SS" options. It'll definitely eventually end up there. I'm honestly hoping my sister and my MIL don't post anything when we tell family, so we can wait even longer to tell the ppl we don't see often on there. I was just reading the story on the BMB about how ppl share the news. It's got me thinking about how to do it memorably yet tastefully. I should probably figure out how to tell our families first!

    I'll announce it after the 1st Trimester.  I've already started telling very close family and friends.  I couldn't hold it in!

    i meant to wait until after the first trimester, because we lost a pregnancy in december. but, i just couldn't do it. all my close friends and family knew anyway, so i went ahead and put it out there. everyone was so happy for us! it was really touching:)

    I need an SS - we will, but not until much, much later. Last time I think it was a couple weeks after we found out we were having a girl. That way, everyone "In the loop" already knows.

    I told all who needed to know first ... I just announced Thursday night. I posted 4 videos: Capri, Little Wonders, I knew I Loved You, and Zion...I pulled words from them for the description and personalized them
