Was date of last period close to what u/s showed for due date?

in 1st Trimester

I got pregnant my first cycle off BC so my period wasn't regular by any means. I think my last cycle started on June 14th which gives me a due date of March 21st and would be 6 weeks pregnant today. My OB confirmed the pregnancy with a blood draw and said my HCG was around 11,000 (I think?) as of Monday. Unfortunately her schedule is crazy so I won't see her again for the 'first appt' with the internal u/s until August 27th. I could/would be around 10 weeks pregnant by then!! I'm eager for that date first to confirm that everything looks good, but also to get a true target for a due date. Did your date of last period translate pretty closely to what you were measuring at your u/s? Thanks!

    This pregnancy happened the first cycle after my non-hormonal IUD was removed, so it was no surprise that my U/S-dated date was a week or so past what my LMP-based EDD was.

    Mine was exact...with this pregnancy and my last...I don't thnk that's necessarily the norm though!

    When I was pregnant with DD, I went in to the doctor thinking I was about 7 weeks pregnant because of my last period, but I was actually only just at 5 weeks because my cycle was still off from getting off birth control.  Everything worked out fine, I was just two weeks behind where I thought I'd be.

    With DD, I was off by about 3 weeks.  With my last pregnancy it was right on, or off by a day.  This time I am a few days more pregnant than my LMP would say.

    I had an u/s last week and my guess based on my LMP is 2 days ahead of what the u/s said. I am not changing my ticker or anything, because 2 days isn't going to change too much.

    It actually was, but I didn't think it would be. I typically have 35+ day cycles, so i thought I would be a week behind what my LMP due showed. I was assuming I was 8 weeks and went for my 1st apt on wed. They did a dating u/s and baby was measuring 9 weeks 2 days, so i was a week a head of what I thought! 

    They'll be able to date it when you do in at 10 weeks, uhhh its just hard to wait!

    Mine was off by three days, but I'm pretty sure I ovulated on CD 16 or 17, so according to my ovulation date, baby's right on track.  My doctor wasn't the least bit concerned that baby was measuring 7w3d when I was "supposed" to be 7w6d based on my LMP.
