Registry Questions!

Hello all, I don't know whos done their registries yet, I have 2 because one site has the pattern my husband picked out and no other site has it and the fruniture was only on babies-r-us...so i picked and chose what was cheaper on either site to register for it. Is that unusual? having 2?

    Nope. With DD I had BRU and Target. Same with this one. Some things BRU just doesn't carry.

    Having been to about a million baby showers, most of my friends/family have used two registries. I think it's completely acceptable and appropriate...it also provides a sense of convenience if people don't want to shop online and don't have one of your registry stores available nearby.

    We have 2, one at BuyBuyBaby and one on Amazon. Some things we like from multiple stores are on Amazon, so it's nice to have them all at the same place. Plus, we have a lot of people that like to shop online, so it makes it easier for them since all of our shipping information is all good. :)

    Ok awesome! I thought I was nutty for a minute there! Thanks guys, yeah I used babies-r-us and buybuybaby because places like graco only put some patterns some places just to drive the hormonal people insane im sure =)

    I'm thinking about two, as well. I've been using myregistry.com because you can add things from any website (and although Amazon often has the best prices, it's not always the case), but I know not everyone will want to shop online. I might do Bed Bath and Beyond or somewhere that carries stuff beyond just baby gear because I have a lot of family members who want to hand down baby stuff, so I may end up returning a lot of what I register for.
    TTC since 8/10.Hypothyroidism, put on Synthroid. Clomid 50 mg + IUI Oct '11 = BFN. HSG found blocked tube Nov '11. Lap + Hysteroscopy to remove tube and fix septum Dec '11. Cancelled following cycle due to lack of response to Clomid. Jan/Feb '12 Clomid 100mg + Folllitism + HSG + Vivelle Dot + IUI #2 = BFN. 3/30/12: Natural Cycle BFP - beta 59 @ 12dpo, beta 286 @ 16dpo Baby boy arrived 12/8/12!

    Two is great, it gives your friends and families options on where to shop and what to buy (and gives you greater flexibility in selecting brands and styles and etc). I'm doing Walmart and Babies R Us.
