Belly heavy - end of day

At the end of the day my belly feels so heavy and is as hard as a rock... anyone else feeling this?  If so, other than going to bed, what do you do?

Re: Belly heavy - end of day

  • Same here. No clue why it happens. I'm still a newbie to this. But my belly feels better at the top of the day than it does at the end.

  • Yes, like it feels more pressure and I feel so sore now! It just started happening more this week (week 28). I feel so sore and hard to move by the time my work day is ending. I guess this is just how it's going to be... ?
  • I totally agree.. No matter how much or how little I've done.. My belly is way heavy and sore by the end of the day.

  • Right there with you ladies. It seems like I am trying to smuggle a bowling ball under my shirt and a heavy one at that. I am like a lot of you have said that it is harder to move around and feel a lot more pressure. I am assuming that it will just get worse as we get closer to the end.

Also maybe a little bit TMI but I am a lot more gasier at night then I am during the day.

  • Oh yes and the further I go the more heavier it gets towards the end of the day.

  • I there with you ladies, and yes totally normal, felt it with DD as well. And sadly, yes it gets worse as you get further along.

  • I've been feeling this way for a while.  Wearing a support belly band during the day does help relieve a lot of the pressure at the end of the day.  Ice water and laying down when I can throughout the day does help some, too.
Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

  • Try a warm bath with 1 cup of Epsom Salts (plain/unscented). This really helps take the weight off and relax muscles.

  • Mine is like that too.. I chalk it up to I know shes moving around a lot during the day. Towards the end of the day she tends to settle head down and than I feel really heavy and pressure in my pelvic area...

  • I'm there with ya!  I have a desk job and don't move too much during the day except for little walks.  When I get home, I feel like I should be able to make dinner, clean up the house, water flowers........and yet my belly feels so heavy and prevents me from doing anything I want to do.  Very frustrating b/c as a FTM, I thought this wouldn't happen until maybe 8 months!  Haha, live and learn!
