-butting in- I don't know her bump name (she posted a lot on the FB group), but it was around two weeks ago, I think. She went in thinking she had some sort of infection and they weren't able to find a heartbeat. She had to have a c-section because it was her 7th baby and the previous 6 had also been c-secs, plus she had a complete previa. It ended up being a placental abruption that caused her to lose the baby .
Apparently another Nov. mama lost her baby today too, although I don't know any details beyond that (her labor buddy posted earlier on FB). So heartbreaking
Oh man. Thanks for filling me in. I guess I miss things not being on the FB group. Very heartbreaking. I hope both families are doing as good as can be expected...

Yes, what Spartan said. The doctor actually told her that her daughter saved her life. The first mama was very active in the FB group and the 2nd was not very active and I do not know if she posted on TB much either.
The 2nd mama we just know that she delivered her daughter at 22w4d. I know from a prior post that there were some markers on the anatomy scan and they opted not to do the amnio. I believe they were waiting for some additional testing to determine if the markers were of any significance.
So sad.
