Florida Babymoon suggestions?

My husband and I plan to take a short trip around labor day weekend and I was wondering if anyone has any Florida suggestions? The trip would be 5 nights 4 days. I definitely want to be able to go to the beach, but I probably won't be able to stay at the beach for too long on any particular day so there also has to be stuff to do. We want to avoid Destin because my brother lives there so we have been there a lot.

    St. Augustine is beautiful, but my favorite place is Tampa. There are some REALLY fun things to do there, like dolphin watches, Pirates Landing, and it's really beautiful.

    We are going to Reddington Beach near Tampa in October. Got a great deal, beachfront hotel & all!

    There is a cute beach house in st Augustine crescent beach you can rent called mi casa, st a has white sand beaches.....or key west!!! I grew up in fla.

    Clearwater/St. Pete area - lots of stuff to do, Tampa is close, food places are great!

    Daytona/New Smyrna area - different atmosphere/nightlife, more great places to eat

    Anna Maria Island/Sarasota area - more shopping areas, somewhat different places to eat

    (I can get more detailed if you really want or are more interested)

    If it's just the two of you, go to St. Augustine! Stately, quiet, gorgeous, it's wonderful. 

     

    Tampa is good but far more touristy and busy.
