  DS's schedule is all bucked up right now anyway and I don't know why.  We do try to adhere to the same schedule on weekends but are a bit more flexible.  DD will 3YO in a few weeks so we've got her social life (ha!) and need to burn energy to consider as well.  They don't often nap at the same time so its usually DS's naps that are impacted as DD only takes one nap.  DS also goes to bed early, 6 p.m. or so, so we're usually unable to do things as a family in the evening so we try to make the most of mid-mornings and mid-afternoons together.

  I try to as much as I can, but our weekends aren't structured like the rest of the week so it makes it harder to stick to a regular schedule.

  We certainly don't get up as early if we don't have to!

DH and I like to get out and do things on the weekend and therefore are much more lax about schedules. Luckily, this does not seem to upset DD and we flow into our weekday routine without a hitch.

  What do your weekends look like? Are you as strict about napping, bedtime, solids, etc? 

  Pretty much the same as you. If I'm home with her for the day just being lazy or because we have nothing to do, I keep her on schedule. Mostly though we do things as a family or if my husband has to work I will take her to the store or something just to get out. I still stress about it a bit but I'm much more flexible since I like to take advantage of getting out of the house and being able to do things. I just accept that she won't nap as much or as well as she normally would and may be off schedule for her bottles/meals but it's not the end of the world. I'm definitely much more relaxed about those things though now that she's a little bit older and SLIGHTLY more flexible.

  We try to but we like to get out and do stuff on the weekends. He usually takes his morning nap in his crib at home and then ends up napping in his carseat in the afternoon. We are also more lax about bedtime. During the week he is in bed at 8:00 but on weekends sometimes not until 9 or 9:30 if we are out.

  Our weekends look nothing like our weekdays. We only have 1 car, so weekends are when we run all our errands. She has to nap in the car or stroller a lot, and usually goes much longer between naps because she's too busy looking. We keep bedtime the same though, and it doesn't seem to throw things off too bad.

  I am pretty rigid with her morning schedule. In the afternoons (on the weekends) I am more flexible with it. I am so worried about how she is going to respond when I go back to work. I seriously doubt that my MIL is going to follow the same schedule that she's used to.

  His feeding schedule gets all thrown off because I nurse as much as possible on the weekends, and nursing makes him verrry sleepy, so he often will take more naps on the weekend than he does during the week. 

  I also let him sleep as long as he wants in the morning, instead of waking him up for nursing like I do during the week (to nurse before I go to work)... so I get really annoyed if the newspaper guy wakes him up at 530am.

  I guess I'm in the minority here.  We keep the same schedule on the weekends...get DS up at his usual time (he's usually up anyway), make sure to take an AM & PM nap, and go to bed at the usual time.  We just squeeze everything in between the naps.

  We dont follow a strick schedule on weekends like during the week.  Since we are on the go so much during the weekend, she just goes with the flow.  She naps when she wants(not very often).
