He's been potty trained for six months, but we still do pull ups at night and often they are wet, but sometimes not. Should I wait until he is having dry pull ups to push the overnight potty training or should I just get rid of them and encourage him to use the potty before bed and let him get the hang of it that way?
Re: How to PT for night time?
DD was always soaked each morning, but we drastically limited drinking 3 hours before bedtime. It took about a week of wetting her bed, but she got the hang of what it took. I think she would forever wet a diaper at night if we hadn't just done it.
Good luck, not all kids are the same.
You can't potty train for night. It happens when DC's body is physiologically ready.
My 6 yo has been potty trained since 2.5 years and wakes up with a wet diaper (Goodnights) every morning. She doesn't wake up for anything. Oh the other hand, my 2 yo sometimes asks to use the potty when she wakes up at night. Each child is different.
