Re: Friendly reminder for early sex u/s!!!
absolutly it's not 100% until that baby pops out! buuut I thought this was still a good reminder...
A friend of mine was told at 20 weeks that it was a boy and then at 34 weeks she had another u/s (unplanned--due to other issues) and found out it was a girl... That girl is now 2 1/2 years old!
Another reason we're team green!
I'm sloooowly being swayed to the green side, I talk to DH a little bit about it yesterday he said theres no way I'd be able to wait until delivery because I'm too impatient...he's probably right lol *thinking* *thinking*

*Waiting for Baby Eags 2.0*;
My cousin and I are both proof of this! Our moms expected boys and got girls - my cousin went from being a Michael to a Michaela and I went from a Shane to a Shana (shay-nah)
We had a scan at 14 weeks and they said girl but it's definitely taken with a grain of salt, partially because we'd love a little boy but mainly because it's super early! We'll see what the a/s says next month, healthy baby being the priority!
That's what my husband said too!! He and the rest of my family insist I'm too much of a "planner" (which is true) and that I won't be able to wait. I think it's more of my husband REALLY wanting to know (and using me as an excuse!!)
So what you're saying is those that had an u/s at 12/13 weeks can't expect that to be 100% accurate??
Bummer for them...
My BIL & SIL went in for the NT Scan at 13 weeks. They were told, with 90% certainty that it was a boy. At the 20 week a/s, baby didn't cooperate so they just kept telling everyone it was a boy. They PAID (because she needed to be prepared with painting the room and having a name picked - neither were done by the time the baby arrived) --- anyhow they PAID for a 3D u/s around 26-30 weeks (in that range), having been telling everyone it was a DEFINITE boy from that 13 week u/s they were a little taken aback when lo and behold, it was a girl.
And again, dying to know what the sex was so they could have the room painted pink and a name picked out. The room was never painted pink, and it took at least 2 days for them to finalize a name for her.
