My shower is at my aunts house on Saturday (large yard and pool area), but my mom is paying for everything (food, drinks, tables, chairs, favors, cupcakes...etc). But, I feel like I should get them both a gift. I know they will both be giving me generous gifts on top of the shower too.
I've already purchased a nice address stamp for each of them from Expressionary.com (with coupon code, it was about $25 each). Do you think this is enough for my aunt? Or should I throw in a bottle of wine or something?
For my mom, I was thinking about a gift card to a restaurant that she & my dad can enjoy together since he is paying for it too.
Am I on the right track or do you think I should get something different?
Re: Question about shower hostess gift
I love that idea!
You could....if you are interested....get some stamps to go along with it. I know you can create your own stamps so maybe that.
I have no idea, but I think your gifts are generous and will greatly appreciated!
I love the nice stationery idea to go with the nice address stamp! That is awesome - and if you are still wanting something more, maybe a nice pen??
I also like the gift certificate idea or maybe a mani-pedi since she put so much work into it, it will give them a chance to get some well deserved pampering... but I just know how much my mom loves mani-pedi's and how rarely it occurs...
