Good morning ladies! I hope you're all having a great Thursday. I am so ready for the weekend, it's just been one of those weeks.

This is an open check-in for those with a loss of a LO and/or EDD in September. We have both ladies from 2011 and 2012. If you want to join, please introduce yourself and give your EDD to be added to the list.

Not much new going on here. I do think that maybe this new regimen I'm on may be helping but I'm not sure yet. I'll continue to try it for another 3 weeks before making a decision though. I had my CT scan on Tuesday and I survived it. I'll get the results at my f/u appointment on August 14th. Until then, I just wait.

Oh and exactly 2 years ago today I was having my very first u/s and seeing a beautiful heartbeat at 7 weeks. I didn't know that I could ever be so happy.

GTKY: Tell me about where you live. City, country, small town, etc.
I live in the country. We're about 20 minutes from a city with a population of about 75,000. I live down a dirt dead end road, that isn't even wide enough for 2 cars. It goes through a swamp and makes all our guests wonder if they're going to die at the end. There are about 20 houses down at the end by the river, but only 5 of us are full time residents, the rest are cottages. We have 1/2 an acre and I love it.

I'm anxious to hear about yout CT scan results Jenn! I really hope that they find something, but that it's something that's super easy to fix! I can't imagine the frustration you're going through with your body right now.

Update: Please update us on any testing, dr. appts, milestones, etc

Not much new, I have a follow up for surgery next week. AF is also due next week, hopefuly between monday and wednesday. That will give be a decent LP and also be able to tell the OB that AF arrived.

GTKY: Tell me about where you live. City, country, small town, etc.
I live in a small city of about 50,000. The area is really nice and I like that it's within driving distance to bigger cities and better shopping. It's a nice water front town on a bay of lake Ontario. I live in a new subdivision and it's okay, but we have no privacy and a small yard. I love our house, but I'd prefer a more secluded area. My dream house will be in the country on a lake or river.

(side note about our dream house - it will need a super huge flag pole....DH put us on a waiting list to get a used flag that will be flown on parliament hill. They put a new one up every week and you can go on a list for one. We'll be getting our flag in about 31 years!)

I really hope that AF shows up before your appointment. I'm keeping my FX for you.

I hope that you guys get your dream house some day. Privacy was a big issue for us which is why we moved into the boonies. DH needs space and privacy. I also think it's so cool that you can get a flag that was flown on parliament hill! I never knew that. But 31 years is a long time to wait. It must be a long list.

I guess my only update is that I'm guessing I'm 6DPO. I don't chart (OPKs worked fine last time, hopefully they will again.). Am trying to wait until at least 10 DPO to test.

GTKY: Tell me about where you live. City, country, small town, etc.
I live in a large city (1 million+). I take the subway to work every day and rarely drive. It's kind of awesome, although definitely took some getting used to.

I have my FX for you and hoping you get your BFP next week.

I can't imagine living in such a huge city. I would freak and feel claustrophobic. But I guess there are upsides to it, you'd save money on cars and gas!

We didnt do testing on the last m/c bc I ended up miscarrying naturally at home the night before and the doctor didnt think it was necessary. We will be testing for chromosomal abnormalities this time, and will begin testing for recurrent miscarriage. I have a doctor's appt with my OB on 8/9 to discuss and then decide if I will move directly to an RE.

Update:

CD12 monitoring was uneventful--I had three follies that were all still pretty small, and my lining was still thin. She's thinking it's just early (I got switched from clomid to femara, so I'm sure that's part of it), so I have another ultrasound tomorrow morning. I'm really hoping they're ready to go, so we can do IUI#2 on Sunday, which would mean I don't have to miss any work.

We live in a small-ish town of about 12,000. I don't love it. I was raised out in the country and I really struggle (even after seven years) with everyone else's noise, lack of space, and lack of privacy. My dream house is out in the middle of nowhere.

Update: Please update us on any testing, dr. appts, milestones, etc.I triggered Monday with 3 perfect follies. I hope one takes. I start progesterone and estrogen supplements Friday, and my beta is scheduled for Aug. 6. Fingers crossed this is it, or we are onto IUI next cycle.
GTKY: Tell me about where you live. City, country, small town, etc.I live in the largest city in the state of Texas and the 4th largest in the US. We live about 20 miles from downtown. I like the city, but wouldn't mind living somewhere smaller.

Update: We were on vacation last week and had a great time. I was able to kind of "forget" about this whole process for a few days except for the fact that AF showed the day our vacation started. And of course, it started one day too early, so we missed the boat on TTC this cycle since I couldn't make it back home on time for monitoring. So we are officially TTC with my next AF!!!

GTKY: I'm also from South Florida!

I can understand your frustration with the lack of privacy in town. No matter how small it is, it's nicer to have your own space. Hopefully you guys get your dream house in the country some day!
