My DS has been FF for about 3 weeks now. We had a good schedule of him eating every 3 hours around 6 ounces and he was STTN. In the past week he has stopped STTN and wanting to eat again at night. Perhaps he needs more calories during the day?
How much does your LO weigh/ how much does he/she eat in a day/ how many hours in between?
TIA!
Re: FF babies- how many ounces/baby weight/feeding schedules
Lucia was almost 13 lbs at her 4 month appt. Not sure how much she weighs now.
She has 4 bottles/day (3 - 4 hours apart). Each one is usually 6 oz, but occasionally we'll add in one 7 oz. I think she's getting ready to add more. She eats solids once or twice a day, but very small amounts still.
She has STTN from very early on, but since 4 months she wakes up a couple of times per night. I would love to help her stop, but the only thing that puts her back to sleep is the paci, and though she's close she can't consistently put it in herself. PPs statement about figuring out why they wake up makes sense to me, but she seems to wake up to smile, kick and play, and I'm not sure adding more of that into our day would help
I'm stuck.

DDs are ~14lbs.
3:00am - 6-7 ounce bottle
7:30am - solids (usually oatmeal and fruit)
8:15am - 6 ounce bottle
12:30pm - solids (fruit or veggie)
1:15pm - 6 ounce bottle (sometimes 7, but that's rare)
5:30pm - solids (oatmeal and veggies)
6:30pm - 6-7 ounce bottle
They go to bed anywhere from 7-8pm and nap twice a day for a total of 3-4 hours. They won't take bottles any more frequently throughout the day and won't take more then 6-7 ounces so we have to get them up at night to eat, but they're usually only awake for 5-10 minutes in the middle of the night (they mostly eat while sleeping).
Your LO could be going through a growth spurt or teething. Does he take a full bottle in the middle of the night? As long as mine take 5 ounces or more I'm going to assume that they need the bottle, but if they start dropping below that we might start trying other ways to soothe them when they wake up.
JB eats:
7:30AM- 6oz
11:00AM- 6oz
3:00PM- 6oz
5:00- 4oz of veggies or fruit and sometimes 4oz of formula as well
7:30- 6oz
Overnight- Usually 4 oz
I think I am going to start giving him a second fruit/cereal meal at around 9:30
ETA: JB weighs 16lbs 6oz as of two weeks ago.

Chloe weighs 13lbs 9oz as of last week. She takes 5 bottles per day... 4-6oz each. (she averages somewhere between 26-32oz a day) We've just started solids, so right now, she's getting maybe an ounce of veggies at dinner, too. She sleeps from about 8 or 9pm til anywhere from 6-9am, and she'll usually go back to sleep for another hour or so immediately after her morning bottle.
She wasn't STTN until we upped her calories in the day (about a month and a half ago). Since then, she rarely wakes up before morning.
Thanks everyone- I do try to offer him more than 6 ounces during the day- but sometimes he just won't eat more. As PP said, I was thinking teething or a growth spurt, but I just don't know. Last night was horrific- he was up at 11,for an hour 1:30-2:30, 3:30, 4:30 then finally slept until 8. We live in a one bedroom and my DH works and I SAH, so he is about to lose his mind!
He goes down anywhere between 7-8 and was sleeping until 4, taking a bottle, and going back down until 8. He takes 3ish naps a day and usually at least one is an hour long... Ug such a guessing game!
Mine did that a couple of weeks ago. It lasted about 1.5 weeks and they alternated nights. Finally after a few nights of getting up 3-4 times we started letting them play the first time they woke up. They'd play for 30-45 minutes, pass out, then we'd feed them and they'd stay out for the night. After that week and a half they went back to sleeping well. Good luck!
This sounds like Olivia. She takes 4 6oz bottles a day and 2 feedings of either fruit or vegetables (2.5 oz) a day. At her 4 month appt she was 50th percentile for weight and 95th percentile for height. Her 5 month appt is tomorrow.
