I went in and was told I was 7 weeks and 2 days. Two weeks later I went in and it showed only 8 weeks 4 days. Why was it so off? Who has this happened to?

I see it happen a lot. Don't freak.. I know it's easier said than done.

This exactly. This happened when I was PG with LO and I had a healthy pregnancy and he was fine. Try not to worry-- this is why some docs refuse to do a U/S until 10 weeks.. things can greatly change up til that point as far as dating, etc. No use in getting mommy upset/worried for no reason
Some doctors just have different ways of measuring. It's not exact. I see two different OBs- a high risk and my regular OB. Each one i about 5 day off from the other lol
within one week I was three days ahead of the last ultrasound. I asked the doctor and she said that there are different ways of measuring and as long as the measurement is within +/- 6 days that everything is good.
So, as long as I continue to feel pregnant, and I don't bleed, I should assume that since it grew at all and had a heartbeat, it will be fine? This is the question I really want answered by someone.

Not really..... pregnancy can mess with your body. You can have symptoms one day, and the next day feel like you "aren't pregnant". You can have a small amount of bleeding (still call your OB if this happens) and you and baby can be fine. Since it showed growth and had a heartbeat, it is promising. Try not to overanalyze. If your doc isn't overly concerned and has a viable explanation, trust your doc. If you don't trust your doc, then he/she shouldn't deliver you and you need to find a new OB

Instead of hitting "reply" you hit "quote" and then type your response in underneath the text
