What are the options? I know about the phil and ted smart, what else??

Re: Lightweight parent facing stroller

  • My cousin has the new Uppababy Cruz. It's compact, reclines in many different positions, and faces both outwards and towards parents.

  • I have the Smart, I love it. I went with it over the Cruz because the wheels were larger, I needed it to be more agile than something with umbrella stroller size wheels. I also liked the looks of the BJ Versa, but it's still not here yet and I needed to get something in February.

Tippy POS. I was happy to get rid of mine....that's where the trade for the Smart came in.

Also thought of the Sola or the Urbo as well. They look big, but they're lightweight.

  • The Bugaboo Bee, Bumbleride Flyer and the Smart are the only good lightweight reversibles I know of. Even the Xtra & the Cruz are over 21 lbs. Out of those I actually like the Flyer the most because I think it has the most comfortable seat for kids. Plus I like the reversable handle. No need to flip the seat. The Smart is cute though. Good for summer since the seat & canopy are really airy & breathable. I just didn't think the seat would be comfortable once a baby's legs were long enough to dangle, until they were big enough to reach the footrest. And I just don't like Bugs that much for aesthetic reasons. The Bee will always look like a mini wheelchair to me.

  • We have the bumbleeride flyer and like that we can easily flip the handle mid-walk to keep LO out of the sun.

My two boys are getting a surprise May 2015!
