Wondering

So my LO started moving about a week or so ago.  I don't feel her move everyday and sometimes it worries me.  I try to get her to move but no luck.  I am just wondering if your LO just started moving how ofter do you feel them move.

Re: Wondering

  • Not as often as I like either. I usually feel LO right after I eat or drink really cold water. But its still not consistent :/

  • When she just started moving, it was really infrequent. I was lucky if I got two days in a row of movement.

She'll start moving more consistently soon! Oh, also? If I poke at her to try to get her to move, she hides and I can't feel her at all. I learned that early on. :-)

  • That same thing happened to me and I was freaking out. Then, yesterday I ate a lot of cold and sugary things (like a Frosty from Wendy's), talked to her telling her to move haha and she has been moving non stop ever since.

  • You'll be feeling her more consistently in a month or so! Bear in mind, our LO's are still small, so a lot of their movements go unnoticed.

Earlier this week I barely felt mine, but there's some serious tumbling happening in there today!

  • I feel her moving around a few times a day.  Some times I'll go a day or two without feeling anything.  Right now she has decided to hang out by my bladder so I usually feel her when I most have to pee.  Of course it is then that she decides to start kicking and rolling around...on my bladder.  Lol!

  • Funny thing after I posted this earlier she started moving.  I guess she knew I was worrying about her.  She's pretty quiet again.  Maybe I'll try the sugary stuff and see if that gets her little butt moving.

  • My doc told me today that she doesn't expect daily movement til 23-24 week, and hourly movement til 28-30 weeks. I feel him move, or at least, pressure in different parts of my belly, almost daily at this point, though. It's not the "kick" feeling, but there is definite pressure in different areas!! Good luck with getting your LO to move around!

  • I asked my doctor about this just last week and she said that they don't ALWAYS stay moving once you first feel them. It can take another month to get consistent movement.
